It has been a heartbreaking week hearing of and seeing the atrocities committed in Israel by their terrorist neighbours. A couple of days ago I found myself praying for the peace of Jerusalem (and the whole of Israel) as we are instructed to in Psalm 122. The melody of this song came to me and I sensed such healing by by singing those words of peace. It is my prayer that this song would help others also to speak peace over God’s precious people and land and to find healing.
The words of Jeremiah also came to me from Jeremiah 31:
“Thus says the Lord: “A voice was heard in Ramah, Lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, Refusing to be comforted for her children, Because they are no more.”
16 Thus says the Lord: “Refrain your voice from weeping, And your eyes from tears; For your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord, And they shall come back from the land of the enemy. 17 There is hope in your future, says the Lord, That your children shall come back to their own border. ”
How I pray the children would indeed come back to their own border. I really appreciate you taking time to listen and join in prayer for the peace of Jerusalem and for those nations around who desperately need the Jewish Messiah Jesus. (Link in bio to my youtube channel)
