This lovely lady invited me to share/sing at the women’s group she runs at Cowplain Evangelical church today. This morning I woke up with the words from Luke 18:1 in my head: “men always ought to pray and not lose heart”. Sometimes it’s a bit daunting knowing what to say to women who have lived longer and walked longer with the Lord than me. What qualifies me isn’t my musical or speaking ability or experience, but my Saviour Jesus , His Holy Spirit and the testimony He has given to me. This is not something I ever envisaged doing being that I was terrified of any kind of public speaking for many years! In our weakness He is strong! Can anyone else relate to this?! I recounted the story of how the faithful prayers of a bedridden woman Marianne Adlard sparked revival when D.L Moody visited her church in London in 1872. Then the recent testimony of my niece whose prayers and the prayers of others availed much. I would love to hear your testimonies of prayer availing ❤
