Into the secret place is a song I felt led to write back in September 2023. The secret place of prayer, the journey through the wilderness/valley to offer a sacrifice of praise and the wrestling with God in the dark night of the soul seem to be very much linked and help us to know the Lord in a deeper way. You may feel that the Lord has left you alone in a valley or wounded as Jacob after wrestling with Him in the night, but know that the Lord has trusted you with a greater level of responsibility to navigate the trials He is allowing. You have been found faithful and your faith will be purified through the fire.
