I wrote this song today based on the healing of the deaf and mute man in Mark chapter 7. My husband taught such a powerful and moving sermon on this passage yesterday that I was inspired to write this song. Jesus conveyed to the deaf and mute man in a way he could understand that he was going to heal him. The first voice this man would have heard was Jesus’! The first person he spoke to was Jesus. Jesus was compassionate and healed this man away from the crowds as he was probably confused, not understanding what was going on. The man had faithful friends who brought him to Jesus. You may be the faithful friend or the one in need of healing. Jesus sees, understands and cares. May the Lord open whatever it is that seems to be hindering you or your friend. Let’s bring the suffering to Jesus and see Him work 🙏
