Last year during the first lockdown I wrote this song from verses in Isaiah chapter 24-26. They talk of a remnant hiding and a victory cry we will hear in the Millenial kingdom of Jesus Christ. The narrow faith choices we make today will have an effect eternally, as we are those who will rule and reign with Jesus. One year later, amidst another lockdown the words very much ring true. Isaiah 26:3 says “You will keep Him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you”. We see here the secret to peace is keeping our minds fixed on the Lord. In the following verse we are told how to have strength – by trusting in the Lord. We are told to trust in the Lord FOREVER – His strength is everlasting – it doesn’t run out. There is a constant battle and a choice for us to make daily, until our race is run. We can either choose to make our strength in man or God. It is a faith choice to run to the Lord to ask His opinion rather than man’s. The name of the Lord (YAH)is a strong tower – the righteous run to it and are safe. A big thank you to my lovely camera man and husband Ilir, and to Ian Barter for his help in mixing and adding percussion. You can listen to this (song no. 5) on my new album “Let The Spirit And The Bride Say Come”.
