When the enemy comes in like a flood

The last week has definitely been a challenge with my mum’s heart attack and our car having 5 windows smashed while my husband was at a prayer meeting. It is no co-incidence amidst working on an album titled ‘The Battle Belongs to the Lord’. But the Lord has enabled me to have the faith to say “none of these things move me”. In fact I am even more determined to wage the war on our enemy-a battle in the heavenlies. We are surrounded by suicide, depression, addiction and Satanic agendas. Only Jesus can free people. May He use His people to intercede!
This song has been brewing the last couple of days as I meditated on the scriptures in Isaiah 59:19 ‘When the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him’ and Isaiah 54:17 ‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me” says the LORD’. If you feel oppressed today, remember we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. We are in a real battle. Keep praying, keep praising!
