Fragrance of Christ

A beautiful day filming at Ashford Hangers in Froxfield with the lovely and talented Ruth Hall. It’s always exciting when Ruth takes on one of my song videos. Looking forward to seeing it and sharing it with you! We met a friendly man who was so enthusiastic about Christian music being shared. It was a lovely reminder to me and hopefully to you that our creative gifts are to serve the body of Christ, to encourage and bring the light of the Gospel to whoever the Lord brings into our path. The first verse of my song echo these thoughts:

“All for Your Kingdom
All for Your glory
A sweet smelling fragrance
I pour out before You
Nothing is wasted
Though misunderstood
Receiving my offering
You call it good.”

Whatever the Lord has given you to minister to Him, know that the fragrance of your offering will be unmistakable just as Mary’s offering to Jesus with fragrant oil would have been. Your offering is not wasted. 2 Corinthians 2:15-16:

“For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?”

I’d love to hear your thoughts 💜
